Bombardier Appoints Chiko Kundi to Pre-owned Sales Team
Bombardier Business Aircraft today announced the appointment of Chiko Kundi as Manager, International Pre-Owned Aircraft Sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. Reporting to Mike Fahey, Vice President, Worldwide Learjet and Pre-Owned Aircraft Sales, Mr. Kundi is responsible for the sale of pre-owned Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets in Asia, Australia, China, India and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Bombardier Learjet and Mark Parkinson, Governor of Kansas, working together on securing the future of Learjet in Wichita
Kansas Governor Mark Parkinson met yesterday with senior executives of Bombardier Aerospace, including its President and COO, Guy C. Hachey and Business Aircraft President, Steve Ridolfi at the Farnborough Air Show in the United Kingdom. Both Bombardier and the Governor have agreed to collaborate on securing the future of the Learjet site in Wichita, Kansas. Details of these positive discussions will be shared publicly at an event in Wichita on July 30.

Bombardier Q400 Aircraft Operated by Porter Airlines to be Flown in Biofuel Test Program
For the first time, a Bombardier Q400 aircraft will be flown using fuel from an oilseed crop as part of a new biofuel test program. A six-partner consortium, led by Saskatchewan-based Targeted Growth Canada (TGC), expects to demonstrate the emerging biofuel produced from camelina in a Porter Airlines Q400 turboprop by early 2012. Renewable fuel from camelina offers a real opportunity to reduce the environmental impact of commercial aviation by significantly reducing carbon lifecycle emissions.

Bombardier Sells Seven Q400 NextGen Airliners to Qantas
Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Australian flag carrier, Qantas Airways Ltd. has placed a firm order for seven Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners. The aircraft will be operated by Qantas' wholly owned regional airline, QantasLink.

Bombardier Confirms Sale of Two Global 5000 Jets to Qatar Airways
Bombardier today confirmed that in March 2010, Qatar Airways placed firm orders for two Global 5000 aircraft, valued at approximately $90 million US, based on the 2010 list price for typically equipped aircraft. The business jets are scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2010 and August 2011 and will be based in Doha, capital of the State of Qatar.
